Betsy studied English Literature with an emphasis in Shakespeare and religious texts. Between college and law school, Betsy worked in the hospitality industry at the Oklahoma City Convention and Visitors Bureau.  As a result, she knows how to plan an incredible party.

Betsy graduated from the University of Oklahoma College of Law in 2003. After graduation, she worked in the area of Indian Law for six years.  During this time, she had experience practicing at the Department of Interior, National Indian Gaming Commission, and Bureau of Indian Affairs. She acted as a consultant for government development and gaming operations.
